Walked up to the main event and having checked it out Calum called shotgun and went first. Although a little messy he made it down upright
I jumped on next and nailed the line pretty well finishing with a little capsize in the pool at the bottom while celebrating how awesome my boof was.
Murray went last. He nailed the first half but boofed the wrong way and got back looped up the wall on the right before getting stuck against it and being unable to role parted from his boat. We spent a while getting out of the bit he was stuck in, partly due to a shocking throw bag from me.
With everyone back in their boats we went on down the rest of the river. One of the rapids was a little funky to the point it managed to bow stall me in my creeker.
The rest of the river was scrappy as normal though some of the other wee slides were fun
The Garbh was a little on the low side however the main falls and some of the other rapids were still really good.
As Calum had called shotgun on the Lui I got to jump on first. The first three drops were really good lines with a brilliant flair on the 3rd.
My line on the main drop was a little messy as I bumped into the wall on the right which took all my speed. Although this gave me time to prepare for a sick boof into the pool at the bottom.
Calum went next. He got a much better line on the last drop.
Murray ran it next. He did the same as me hitting the wall on the right on the last drop but managed to maintain slightly more speed than me.
Calum and I went up and ran it again. My line on the last drop was almost perfect with another big boof to finish it.
After that we dragged out boats to the bottom and went home.
Ps. We all drank a lot of tea so were constantly having to pee
